Some Dream Journal Advice….

Everyone dreams 3-6 times per night, but not everyone remembers their dreams.

Here are a few tips to help you remember your dreams and get started on your project.

  • Keep a pen & paper right next to your bed and write down as much as you can remember immediately after waking up. If you move around or wait until later in the day to write down your dreams, you will most-likely forget them.
  • Think about dreaming before you fall asleep and tell yourself that you will remember your dreams. Research shows that people are more likely to remember their dreams when they conscientiously think about remembering.
  • Try to keep a consistent sleep schedule and if possible, avoid waking up to an alarm clock. When your body is well-rested and you wake up naturally, you are more likely to remember.
