TIPS FOR COMPLETING YOUR PROJECT:

1.)TITLE each of your slides

2.)Make sure your slides are “eye catching” – pictures / graphics must be on ALL slides. Colorful & CREATIVE!!

3.)Make sure your font size is readable. If you have extra space make it bigger! If you have a lot of information instead of squeezing it all in on one slide make it into TWO slides!

5.) LIST your facts / information either using numbers, bullets or asterisks.

ALL FACTS MUST BE IN YOUR OWN WORDS!!

AVOID writing in sentence / paragraph form.

Information should be limited to very few words!

6.)Keep the BACKGROUD slide the same. You can get creative by your font, color, boarders, pictures, & graphics. Do not have your graphics / words fly in & out. NO noises.

7.)Keep your slides in the order as they appear on your requirement sheet.

8.)Be able to explain your slides beyond what is written on the slides!!!!

Oral Presentation TIPS:

1.)Make eye contact with your classmates – DO NOT constantly look down at your note cards or at the screen.

2.)More or less you need to memorize a large portion of your presentation. NOTE CARDS MAY BE USED. Anyone can research a drug, make a power point, & read from it. You need to be knowledgeable / an expert on your drug. TALK to the class vs. READING!! SAY MORE – WRITE LESS!

3.)Rehearse your presentation several times PRIOR to the day your are scheduled to present. PRACITCE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE!! You need to be able to pronounce & know meanings of all words! Talk clearly, slowly, & loud enough for everyone to hear.
