SATURDAY SCHOOLING OF CROSS COUNTRY OR A RIDE-A-TEST: The Starter Horse Trials offers Saturday Schooling of the Cross Country Course or a Ride-a-Test opportunity. Know that we will not be monitoring this activity and should a rider chose to school on Saturday know that at a recognized event and USPC championships this will notbe allowed. For the purpose of this rally it is open to all competitors should they wish to do so, but again we will not be monitoring this. Riders will need to sign up for XC schooling or a Fix-a-test through the VHT web site directly themselves. The XC schooling can be signed up for after arrival, but be aware that schooling will not be an excuse for any points off on formals in terms of tack or horse presentation. Although normally there are strict restrictions for what levels can school when, the management of the Starter Horse Trials is making an exception for those who wish to school Training Level or Prelim who are entered in the ODRPC Eventing Rally to be allowed to school in the morning with the lower levels. This is ONLY for Pony Clubbers and no one else. If you are planning on doing this make a note on your sign up form for schooling XC which you can get on the Virginia Horse Trials web site that you are a pony clubber entered in the ODRPC Eventing Rally and plan to school TL/Prelim in the AM timeframe.
