Dr. David Madow:And I am Dr. David Madow.It's great to be back again. Where did the months go? They go too fast.

Dr. Richard Madow:The months, the years, the decades…

Dr. David Madow:Oh God! Don't even go further than that.

Dr. Richard Madow:Before we go any further, I just want to say...

Dr. David Madow:What’s that?

Dr. Richard Madow:I don't know how you feel? But you can call me Rich. You don't have to call me Dr. Richard Madow. How about you?

Dr. David Madow:I think that goes without saying.

Dr. Richard Madow:We are all friends here at Power House.

Dr. David Madow:They can call me...

Dr. Richard Madow:You can call me Al...

Dr. David Madow:They can call me...Dave is fine.

Dr. Richard Madow:Anyway, we have a fantastic DVD for you this month. We work really hard on these, and we are very proud of them. They are packed with great information. But this month is something that can truly change your practice for Doctor and team in such a big positive way forever and ever, and we are really excited about it.

Dr. David Madow:It's funny Rich.You took the words right out of my mouth. I would agree. I would like to think that they are all good. But this one there is something special about this and I have to tell you; I think you will agree with this as well. The secrets we are going to be revealing on this video are some of the ways we actually built our practices in the past and the Madow Brothers business right now. These are incredibly powerful secrets.

Dr. Richard Madow:No question about it and I don't know what took us so long to talk about this topic. Because, as you said, we use these in our dental practice and Madow Brothers business.

Dr. Richard Madow:And the cool thing is, as you will see, everybody on the team will not only help grow the business but enjoy growing the business. Really cool stuff for you this month.

Dr. David Madow:So I think we should tell them what it's called. The name of this video is called, "M-Power."

Dr. Richard Madow:Now it's a little play on words because, "M", is for Madow. But it also empowers because these techniques that we are going to teach, you can be used to empower everyone on the team. Now you may think that the “M” stands for something else, for example, manage.

Dr. David Madow:I was going to say matter, but manage is a good one.

Dr. Richard Madow:And certainly this will help you manage the practice better.

Dr. David Madow:Maybe, we can think about multiply because what you are going to get out of this video will multiply your earnings, your profitability,and your practice.

Dr. Richard Madow:No question about it. What aboutmotivate? Everybody needs motivation, and there is absolutely no question that M-Power will motivate everyone involved in the practice.

Dr. David Madow:Here is one of my favorite one. It is going to help you monetize, monetize everything you do.

Dr. Richard Madow:Is that term a modern word? Was that term ever used in the past? I think when you hear it refers to something internet or e-based.

Dr. David Madow:How are you going to monetize this?

Dr. Richard Madow:You have got this website or this app; ten thousand people are using it but how do we monetize it? How do we make money with this?

Dr. David Madow:Well, we are going to show them how you to monetize everything they do in their practice through the use of M-Power.

Dr. Richard Madow:No question about it. Another one ismission.Someone may hear about the mission statement. But it's everybody's mission to improve their practices. There is no question about it, and M-Power will truly set you on the mission of continual practice improvement.

Dr. David Madow:And this whole thing is going to be totally mind-blowing. And probably after you watch this video there are probably many, many more M words that come up to describe how powerful M-Power is - but we will start with those for now.

Dr. Richard Madow:Hopefully, they are good, nice words you can say in public.

Dr. David Madow:Exactly!I can't think of any bad words.

Dr. Richard Madow:M-Power - You know It's funny. But do you remember we started talking about we could not believe that we did not have this on DVD for our Power House members, and it was during our in house consult.Remember what was going on there?

Dr. David Madow:I do remember that exactly and every time we do an in-office consult we are actually amazed.

Dr. Richard Madow:Amazed.

Dr. David Madow:M....I love it; I love it. I think during the courses video every M word is going to be emphasized.

Dr. Richard Madow:Mmm… Maybe not.

Dr. David Madow:But we are amazed. Not only do we go in and speak to the doctor but we are amazed how the team members are so into it and want to share in the learning and want to participate in the growth of the practice. So we realize that success is not just for thedoctor, but the whole team is involved. I tell you something else about that.At our last two Power Housesessions, we really could not tell the difference between doctors and team members and I am not talking about the way they looked but in the way they participated. Everyone was equally involved and wanted to grow their practices.

Dr. Richard Madow:It’s funny when we come across a practice where the doctor is low-key, mellow and soft spoken and, of course, they are dedicated to building a great practice. But they are not the talkers, and the team is so enthusiastic and going crazy about how they can build the practice. We love to see that. It is a very cool dynamic. But interestingly, back to our private consults... Team meetings, we are having the doctors in the group talk to us about team meetings and most of the time they are unstructured, unproductive, they turn into total bitch sessions. We know from experience that even sometimes we say we are going to schedule team meeting; we are going to have an agenda. This is the way we do it but after a period of time they just fall away because the practice gets too busy, they are not interested, they are not getting results and worse yet they turn into complete bitch sessions and everyone leaves in a bad mood.I know we actually talk to some practices, and they say we kept team meeting but at the end of the team meeting - team member A and team member B will leave crying, and that’s horribly negative for the practice. But with M-Power, you will not have to worry about that anymore, guaranteed.

Dr. David Madow:It’s going to change all that and the good thing about M-Power it's really, really easy, and it is fun. I know you will totally agree, it really works.

Dr. Richard Madow:It really works, and maybe we have just kind of hint into this. We have not said it yet completely, but M-Power is a way to totally rejuvenate and change the way we have team meetings in your practice to make them productive, fun and worthwhile. So, yes,it's about involving the whole team. It's about ateam meeting, and it's a totally different and unique way to run your team meetings.

Dr. David Madow:So, maybe some of our mmm…members wonder what M-Power is all about. So maybe we could just give our members some features of what this thing is all about. It's great; it works, and it is fun. We love doing it; we can't wait for our next M-Power meeting.

Dr. Richard Madow:I love drinking tea, and I love M-Power meetings. Two things I love. Many, many more things I love but those are two.

Dr. David Madow:Absolutely! We'll drink some tea right now. In fact, give me a little refill. We will talk about the some of the features of M-Power. First, it gets people to actually focus on their own jobs, how to get more done, how to do it faster and better. Not wasting time, doing things more efficiently. It's great at that, and it gets people to look for even small ideas for continual improvement. You don't need to have a home-run idea every time. But if you have many cool and small ideas to help the practice, like you did at the beginning, the practice will go up and up and up. It encourages participation and when everyone participates, and everyone is thinking it builds practices.

Dr. Richard Madow:It’s amazing how sometimes people who are maybe a little quiet or introvert, they are shy. At team meeting when the M-Power format is adopted, they can become some of the best idea persons.

Dr. David Madow:I’ll tell you something funny, and I know we are going to get into this soon. But case in point. We had a woman that use to work with the Madow Group. I won't mention any names. But Linda was very; to say she was shy at a team meeting would be an understatement. She would never do anything; she would never talk. But when we had these M-Power meetings she worked right with it.

Dr. Richard Madow:She did. She really adapted to the program.

Dr. David Madow:She really did. Another good thing about it - it's practically free. There is very little cost. It takes very little time. It's not one of these time-consuming things where you have to be working, working, and working. It is very quick. It evaluates all response ideas quickly. So we are going to talk to you about how this works as far as coming up with ideas, but it is not a long drawn out thing where somebody comes up with an idea and you need to take it in front of panels and courtroom. It's quick! it works quickly. Also one of the cool things, the teams love this. There are little rewards or incentives involved.This makes it fun for everybody to get involved with M-Power. It also gets team members or anybody participating to get some costly thinking on how I can improve and what am I going to talk about at the next M-Power meeting. So, it's one of those things, once you put it in place. It's always working for the practice. Always building efficiently and inexpensively.

Dr. Richard Madow:It is. That leads to the benefits of M-Power. If you start doing M-Power, M- Power will benefit your practice. What will be the benefits of M-Power? It actually changes the way you look at the practice and the business every single day. Because, despite design, it has everybody thinking all the time. Every time you do something in the practice, you will be thinking how can I do this better, more efficiently, faster, cheaper, whatever. If you have not got this idea as yet, you should. But just to reinforce it, everybody in the practice contributes ideas. We have seen practices where we have seen one person, very outgoing, extroverted, not shy, and not afraid of expressing their ideas even if their ideas are bad they always want to talk about their ideas. Now, one person canbecome the idea superstar and other people in the practice might be feeling that they are not getting the right recognition for their smarts, their hard work or that person might be at a different level from them. Well, M-Power takes care of all that. It gets everybody in the practice contributing ideas and information to improve things. It actually turns people into experts, and you will see when you hear about the format of it. People may be watching this DVD or video; maybe team members think I am not an expert problem solver. I really don't have any great ideas to improve the practice. It turns everyone into an expert, and as you said before,you don't have to be a big expert, but you can be a small expert.

Dr. David Madow:It's amazing how many people you may have working in your practice that are probably thinking and observing all day long about things they could tweak or make things better. But they just never talk about it. They never really ask, and they never bring it up.

Dr. Richard Madow:And you get busy and go do the next hygiene check, and clean the next set tray of instruments or prep the next crown or whatever and...

Dr. David Madow:It fades away.

Dr. Richard Madow:It does! Something really important about M-Power is that it makes people open to change. We have all been there, where maybe youhave a team meeting, you attend a course, and you have some great ideas then two weeks later it's back to the same old, same old or even worse. Doctor attends the course, does not take the team and comes back with all these ideas. You have a team meeting, and the team saysafterward, “It's fine, the doctor is all pumped up from this course, but don't worry, couple weeks he or she is back to normal.”It does not do that. Communication is the key in the dental practice. We began talking about when we go into offices, observe and talk to the doctor and team, one of the biggest things that people want to improve in their practices is communication. Whether it is between the front and the back; the doctor and the team; the team and the patients,M-Power actually improves communication between everyone in the practice it gets you enthused, motivated, it gets you to participate and best of all it leads directly not in some kind of comfortable way but directly to increasing your quality, your productivity, efficiency and your profitability. It does all those things. It's really is an amazing program. Yet it is so simple.It is simple to understand and apply. It does not take a lot of time or money, and best of all it works. You are probably wondering how could anything could be so great? What is it? Tell me, tell me, tell me. We shook the video a little bit; they asked me not to do that.

Dr. David Madow:Cameraman, cameraman steady that camera just a little bit more!

Dr. Richard Madow:It really works, and it is so simple.

Dr. David Madow:And we love simple.

Dr. Richard Madow:We do. We only understand simple.

Dr. David Madow:But you know it does not have to be like meeting after meeting, you have to call, and outline this and that and follow up. It does not have to be; it’s easy.

Dr. Richard Madow:But best of all it does everything we just promised. It really does. Are you wondering how it works?

Dr. David Madow:Should we explain? Do you think we should explain? We have been giving it like a lot.

Dr. Richard Madow:We have hyped it up.

Dr. David Madow:I tell you something; it better be good.

Dr. Richard Madow:We have to come through now.

Dr. David Madow:But it is good. We believe in it.

Dr. Richard Madow:We know from experience. It’s great.

Dr. David Madow:Let's talk about how it works and the thing is, it's not going to take us that long to explain it because it's really easy, and that’s the whole concept - it's simple. First of all, you are going to schedule monthly M-Power meetings. Attendance is mandatory. Put them on the calendar way in advance. It could be the second Wednesday of every month, whatever. But make sure it's on the calendar and everybody on the team knows about it. Every single person that works in the office ...

Dr. Richard Madow:They could have the consistency like that too - the second of every month.
