Objective

Orthopaedics has been my specialty of interest from my undergraduate days and I found myself to have the acumen and skills for this specialty and learning was not only effortless but also joy. I am motivated to work hard and strive for betterment in the art of orthopedic surgery and contribute my best to patient care through logical, researched and evidence based medicine.

  • Indraprastha Apollo Hospital Delhi is a Joint Commission International Affiliated Hospital. It is one of the largest super specialty hospitals in the country. My work there consisted of attending patients in OPD’s, care of in-ward patients, attending academic sessions like case presentations, journal club, seminars etc, assisting surgeries and performing independent surgeries. I got the opportunity to work with internationally renowned faculty and get excellent exposure to all types of orthopedic procedures, predominantly knee and hip arthroplasties (assisted in 400+ knee and 150+ hip arthroplasties), revision arthroplasties, Arthroscopies (knee, shoulder, ankle and elbow), paediatric orthopedic procedures (acetabuloplasties, femoral osteotomies, foot deformities etc), trauma (complex trauma including fractures of sacral and pelvic region), spine surgeries and cold orthopedics
