Post:Personal Assistants required assisting a disabled woman with daily life.
You will be required to assist with personal care tasks, transferring with use of hoist, administer medication, meal preparation, domestic tasks, dog walking. You will also be required to provide emotional and mental health support.
PVG is required prior to employment and current moving and handling training and medication administration training is required.
Shifts available:
Friday 4pm – 8pm
Saturday 8am – 10am, 4pm – 8pm
Sunday 8:30am – 10am, 5pm – 8pm.
There will also be some additional overnights available.
Additional hours may be available to provide cover for holidays and sickness.
Rate of pay: £7.95 per hour.

The hours required are:

Job ref: 006 Personalassistant required for a creative woman in her 50’s who has had a stroke.
I am looking for a personal assistant to provide support with activities in Aberdeen, along with leisure tasks within my home and to assist with the communication tools that I use.
I have Aphasia which for me means that I have difficulties with speech. For this reason it is vital that my PA has good communication and listening skills. I do not need any help with personal care and I use an electric wheelchair to get around outside my home.
Someone with a friendly manner, sense of humour and enthusiasm would fit will me well. The person would also need to be a non-smoker.
The post is for 6 hours per week and the rate of pay will be £7.00 per hour.
I am flexible on the days that I would like support; therefore I would be open to week days and/or weekends. Shifts would be over 2 days; however this is open for discussion at interview.

Job Ref PA PO: Personal assistant required supporting a young boy to pursue his hobbies/interests

The purpose of the post is to support a young boy to pursue his hobbies/interests with direction from his parents.
Duties will include supporting the individual to undertake a variety of social activities including going to the cinema and swimming. Additionally you will be supporting the individual to interact with children of the same age.
You will also be expected to undertake some light domestic tasks, such as assisting the child to tidy his bedroom or help with laundry. Experience of working with children with speech delay is preferred.
The post is for 3.5 hours per week and flexibility will be required.
The hourly rate for this post is £6.77.
The job requires someone who has good communication and listening skills with an ability to follow instructions. The ideal post-holder will be someone who can swim, is keen on the outdoors, and is friendly, calm and patient with a good sense of humour.
A valid UK driving licence and use of own vehicle for the purposes of the post is essential.

I am looking for two Personal Assistants to join a team of people who support me. I need support throughout the night.
I need someone to check I’m sitting or lying comfortably. During the night my covers need to be constantly placed over me as I make involuntary movements and displace them. I need someone to change my incontinence pads and to check my Urisheath is fixed properly. These need checked at regular intervals throughout the night.
I sometimes need skin cream applied to my body. I also need someone to check for sores and ensure my skin is healthy.
I like someone to chat to me and keep me company.I need someone to help me to eat and drink. I have a risk of choking so need support in managing this risk.
I am looking for someone who has English as their first language. I am able to communicate by saying a few words and it is very important to me that you are able to understand me. I can understand what people are saying so it is also very important to me that I can understand you also.
I am looking for an easy going, relaxed and chilled out person who is able to keep me company as well as ensure my needs are met throughout the night.
Hours of work:
You will be required to work 2 and 3 nights per week on alternate weeks.
Shifts from 10pm – 9am. Rate of pay: £8.73/hour.
