Liam Lynch Commemoration:

The Hogan /Ryan / Lynch Cumann willcommemorate the Annual Liam Lynch Commemorationon Sunday 5thNovember 2017 at 1.30pm at the monument in Anglesboro. Guest speakers are Riadh Ni Riadh M.E.P. and Senator Paul Gavin Sinn Fein. Others in attendance will be Maurice Quinlivan T.D. and many other T.D’s and Councillors from all over Munster. We would also like to welcome the local Liam Lynch Pip Band, and the Colour Party from Cork. A member of the Lynch Family will once again lay the wreath in honour of General Liam Lynch. On behalf of the Hogan/Ryan/Lynch Cumann we would like to thank Anglesboro Community Centre for the use of the hall for the commemoration where refreshment will be served after, also the people will have the opportunity to speak with the elected representatives of Sinn Fein. The Commemoration paradewill start at1.00pmoutside the hall in Anglesboro and a short walk to the Liam Lynch monument where this great man will be honoured.

Catering To You – for Glenroe Ladies Club:

Trish Culloty from “Catering To You” Newtownshandrum will hold a “Tasting Night” in Glenroe Community Hall on Wednesday 8th November 2017 at 8pm. Trish is an established chef and has over 25 years’ experience in the catering industry and can deliver an exceptional dining experience to your door. So come along and check out her “Tasting Menu”. Refreshments will be served on the night. All are welcome.

Gleann Áine Alight:

Join us for a free community event, Gleann Áine Alight, onSaturday 18th November 2017 6.30pm-7.15pm, at the Hospital/ Herberstown GAA Club, St. Johns Park, Hospital, Co. Limerick. Enjoy an intimate event created especially for and with the people of Hospital, that celebrates its home through fire, light and performance. Take part in Gleann Áine Alight by joining the workshops or volunteering to help out during the event. Everyone is welcome to take part or volunteer in the event or come to watch the performance. "Presentation Secondary School, Mitchelstown will hold a fundraising night at Curraheen Race Track, Cork, onFriday 10th November. Tickets are €20 (2 adults & 2 children) and are available from the school."
