NOTE: Prizes will not be shared & will be given as per the norms settled by organizers. Cut off dates for age category is 01.01.2014.

RULES & REGULATIONS:

Entry Fee: Entry Forms along with Entry Fee of Rs. 1,000/- Payable in cash should be submitted to: Sri Yogamber Singh Negi, Organiging Secretary. Veteran players & players from North Eastern States and physically challenged will be entitled for 50% discount in entry fee.

Last Date of Entry: Entry should be sent on or before 20th August 2014. However, Entry will be accepted upto 11.00 a.m. on 22.08.2014 with a late fee of Rs. 300/-. Entry will be accepted on ‘first come first serve basis’ depending upon the sitting capacity. No entry will be accepted after 22.8.2014.

Accommodation: Free dormitory accommodation will be provided only to those outstation participants who have Paid Entry Fee on or before 20th August 2014. Accompanying persons will have to bear their own expenses. Girls / women will be provided separate accommodation. Players are requested to keep their own lock & key.

Chess Clocks: Players are requested to bring their own Chess Clocks.

Tournament Rules: Tournament will be conducted in 09 Round Swiss League System as per International Chess Rules known as FIDE Laws of Chess.

Tie Break: In case of a tie, the latest FIDE Rules shall apply.

Important Instructions:

(i)  Use of electronic devices inside the tournament hall is strictly prohibited. Mobiles, even in switch off mode, will not be allowed inside the tournament hall and players found violating this instruction will loose their point.

(ii)  Use of Alcohol, Cigarette, Pan Masala / Gutka, Gambling, etc. inside the Venue and Place of Accommodation are strictly prohibited and will tantamount to indiscipline.
