Re: Bidding for 2016-2017 SCLSC Schedule
The time is now to bid on the 2016-2017 Short Course and Long Course seasons. Attached is the SCLSC bid form. The SCS Short Course Championships, SCS Long Course Championships,SCS Open Water State Championships, SCS Palmetto Championship (possible split site), 8&U Championship meets; and LSC meetings (fall and spring) are protected dates by the LSC. Bids for these meets on these specific dates will receive priority over bids with alternate dates. All other dates are open dates for bids for meets or events. Once all bids have been received, the Technical Planning Committee will meet to determine recommendations for the LSC House of Delegates to considerthe weekend of April 16for the 2016-2017 Short Course and Long Course meet schedule. Meets approved on that weekend will receive priority over any meets requested after that date.
Make a copy of the bid form for each meet on which you are bidding. Fill the form out COMPLETELY and attach your complete meet information and order of events.
E-mailed bid forms and associated documentsshould be sent to and must be received no later thanFriday, April 1. Please send meet bids and associated documents as INDIVIDUAL E-MAILS for each meet or event you are bidding for.
