‘World Taekwondo Grand PrixLondon- Friday 20th October’
The Mayor and Taekwondo GB are delighted to offer students a chance to enjoy world-class sport. From 19-22 October 2017, the Copper Box Arena in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park will host the World Para Taekwondo Championships and the World Taekwondo Grand Prix. It’s the first time world-class Taekwondo has come to London since the summer of 2012.
As a school, we have been lucky to secure 24child tickets sotherefore, the trip is being offered on a first come first served basis.The cost of the trip is £5.80and the online payment will open onThursday 12th October.
We will be leaving school at approx. 12.20pm to travel to Morden Underground Station. From Morden Underground Station we will be travelling to Stratford Underground Station arrivingat approx 2pm. Your daughter will need to have enough money on her oyster card for the journey.
The event starts at 2.30pm so your daughter will need to bring a packed lunch. We will then take the girls on a tour of the Olympic park prior to the event starting.
The last event of the evening is due to finish at 4.30pmhowever due to rush hour we are aiming to be back at Morden Underground Station before 6.30pm. I will ask the girls to make contact with you before we get on the tube to confirm arrival time.
Cost £5.80. If you would like your daughter to attend the trip, please make your non refundable payment online via the link on the School’s website by clicking on the large £ sign on the home page to link you to the payment site Online payment is available from Thursday 12th October.
If you are unable to pay online, please contact the Finance Office so that a unique Payment Barcode can be issued for you to pay cash at a local Paypoint ( for this order.
Kindly complete and return the attached reply slip once you have made your non refundable online payment of £5.80 by Thursday 19th October 2017.
Your daughter’s place on this trip is subject to satisfactory behaviour, attendance and conduct within school and this will be constantly monitored before the trip. If your daughter’s attendance or behaviour is deemed to be unsatisfactory, she will not be allowed to participate. If she is not allowed on the trip, there will be no refund of any monies paid.
Whilst on the visit please emphasise to your daughter/son that she will be required to obey the instructions and advice of the Party Leader and other accompanying adults.
