There’s no “one size fits all” so the services on offer include:

Broken Dreams: Introduction to Child Sexual Exploitation Training - This training is being offered FREE to schools in the City to increase awareness among staff about the important issue of Child Sexual Exploitation and support staff to safeguard young people. This training can be delivered as a 2 hour workshopor as a 3.5 half day training. It can be delivered as part of an inset day training or as a twilight session. Zippy’s Friends: A programme that promotes the mental health and emotional wellbeing of children aged 5-7 -The PSHE Advisory Service in Nottingham is now licensed to train teachers to deliver this resource. Worldwide research provides evidence that Zippy’s Friends has shown significant improvements in the social and emotional skills of the children, helping them to deal with their feelings and cope with everyday difficulties. Online Safety Survey Preview for Primary and Secondary Schools and Academies - The PSHE Advisory Service in Nottingham have developed a new online safety survey. Lord Mayor's Attendance Awards 2017 - Information packs have now been sent out for the annual Lord Mayor’s Attendance Awards, and these should be withSchools' attendance leads. The event will take place at Harvey Hadden leisure centre, in Bilborough, on Thursday 13th July between 3.30pm and 5.30pm. Teeth Tools for Schools - Whilst working with schools in 2011 the Local Oral Health Promotion Team discovered a gap in oral health knowledge and resources. 'Brushing Buddies' continues to help save children's smiles! - This fantastic supervised tooth brushing scheme aims to support primary schools to motivate their children and families to take better care of their dental health - and their smiles. Brushing Buddies is now active in over 45 schools across Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire and sees teaching staff educating and inspiring young children to brush their teeth whilst at school.
