Jeremiah Centrella is Deputy General Counsel and Assistant Corporate Secretary for Mercy Corps. He is a member of the Board of Legal Advisors for InsideNGO, a collaborative community of nearly 2000 non-governmental organization that strengthens the operational and management capacity of the international development and relief non-profit community, a member of the Board of Directors of Partner Micro Credit, the third largest microfinance institution in Bosnia, and a member of the Portland City Club Research Board. Prior to Mercy Corps, he worked as Law Clerk and then In-House Counsel at Columbia Helicopters (2006-2010). He earned his Juris Doctorate cum laude from Willamette University College of Law (2007) and a BA in Political Economics from Colorado College (2002). He grew-up in Mapleton, Oregon. Jeremiah is the 2012 winner of InsideNGO’s Operational Excellence Award for Emerging Leader of the Year. Board member since 2012. Term ends August 2017.

Larry W. Ettner is Professor of Management Practice: Atkinson Graduate School of Management, Willamette University, Salem, OR since 2008. Responsible for Experiential Learning PACE core courses: Consulting in Non‐Profit and Public Organizations, Developing a New Entrepreneurial Venture, and Leading Ethical and Sustainable Organizations. Facilitate required MBA Professional course LEAD (Leadership Effectiveness and Development) and elective course Organizational Leadership. Ettner holds a doctorate in management (2006) from Case Western Reserve University, a masters (1975) from the University of Oregon, and a bachelors (1973) from Willamette University. Prior to his current academic position as Professor of Management Practice at the Atkinson School of Management he (CEO and Managing Partner) partnered with a Wall Street investment bank and founded (1990-2000) a real estate investment firm in Chicago and New York, specializing in the ownership of commercial real estate investments (in seven mid-western states) and placement and securitization of commercial mortgage backed securities. The company was sold in 2000 to a Netherlands based pension firm. Prior to founding his partnership, he was a senior executive in a New York Stock Exchange corporation with responsibilities in overseeing six publically traded real estate investment trusts (REITs) with operations nationwide. Before his REIT responsibilities he was division president of the west coast division of a London, England based property and commercial development firm traded on the London Exchange. He began his career as Director of Business Development (after his masters) and was promoted to Northwest division president. Ettner continues to invest in a variety of real estate investments since selling his firm, and presently serves on the board of directors of two private companies, and one not-for-profit organization. During his partnership with the investment bank, he was appointed an independent director of real estate companies in New York, Washington DC, Dallas, and Israel. He resides in Chicago, IL and Portland, OR. Board member since 2011. Term ends August 2017.

Daniel Hall is National Vice President of Retirement Plan Sales at The Standard in Portland. With a career spanning 30 years in retirement planning, Dan has developed a passion for developing and leading sales relationships throughout the country. In 2005, Dan led The Standard’s efforts to begin offering retirement plan services to the non-profit sector. Under his vision and leadership, The Standard has gained a comprehensive understanding of the unique retirement plan needs of over 200 non-profit organizations around the country. In 2006, Dan was asked to present to the Senate Finance Committee in Washington DC on critical pension reform. His participation, along with many others, helped with the passing of the Pension Protection Act of 2006. Dan and his wife Kay have one son, Nik, who attends Occidental College in Southern California. He has been active over the years in youth soccer and various charitable foundations. Dan is a graduate of Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA and has MA from Georgia State University in Atlanta. Board member since 2013. Term ends August 2016.

Jim Hennings founded and served as the Directorof the Metropolitan Public Defender in 1971 until

his retirement in 2008. He is presently Director Emeritus of that organization,a private consultant on Criminal JusticeManagement and Data Systems, and enjoyinghis retirement.He has served on numerous committees and taskforces for Multnomah County, including thePublic Safety Coordinating Counsel, the PolicyCommittee for the Decision Support System-Justice program and several Courthouse design committees. Jim lived briefly in Portland as a young child until his family moved to the Boston area. Heattended college at Lake Forest College in Illinois, Law School at Willamette University in Salemand Post Law School training at Northwestern University in Chicago. His early Law careerwas as a Deputy District Attorney in Multnomah County. He is a member of the Oregon StateBar and has served on its Criminal Law Committee, Ethics Committees and House of Delegates. For his professional activities, he has received the Oregon Criminal Defense Lawyers LifetimeAchievement Award and the American Constitution Society Hans A. Linde Award. Jim lives in SW Portland near Lewis and Clark Law School with his wife, who is a businessattorney in Portland. Board member since 2011. Term ends August 2015.

Amy Kohnstammwas raised in Portland and educated K-12 in Portland Public Schools. She is a Portland Public Schools board member. Amy attended Macalester College in St. Paul, MN earning a BA in anthropology and political science, studying abroad in India, and serving as a student fellow with the World Press Institute. Following college she worked in San Francisco as a journalist. Amy relocated to Portland in 1992 and worked for 6 years at Tri-Met on the development of light rail projects, handling community relations, media, neighborhood and property-owner involvement and publicprocess for land use permitting.She spent time as a full-time mother toher three sons, and lived in the UK for a period. She has served on the boards of Planned Parenthood of the Columbia-Willamette, Portland Schools Foundation / All Hands Raised (equity grants chair, development chair, board co-chair), Open Meadow Schools (program chair) and the Ainsworth and Lincoln School Foundations. She is actively engaged in statewide efforts around public school funding and reform and is currently a Senior Fellow in the American Leadership Forum of Oregon. Board member since 2012. Term ends 2015.

Rachel Mardock is a CPA and Corporate Controller for Mercy Corps. She is a change agent with a background in accounting, auditing and process improvement. She served in Peace Corps Romania from 2002 to 2004 and has been working in accounting and finance for the last 12 years. She holds a Masters in Public Accounting (MPA) from the University of Texas at Austin and is a CPA licensed in Washington State. She worked in public accounting as an external auditor and consultant from 2005-2007. She then transitioned to Russell Investments for 8 years where she specialized in internal controls, financial reporting, enterprise efficiencies, and process improvement. She is now the Corporate Controller at Mercy Corps. Rachel has worked hard to help process owners throughout the organization she’s worked in to increase efficiencies, reduce errors, and reduce expenses.

S. Mignon Mazique, PhD is the Executive Counselor for Mercy Corps. Mignon’s job is to develop and support the leadership capacity of the organization. She supports the leadership groups in all international locations and in HQ offices with the development of strategy, the resolution of problems and individual coaching on issues related to organization, systems, implementation, leadership and management. Prior to joining Mercy Corps, Mignon was an independent consultant and trainer who had conducted management training and development programs for over 25 years. Mignon holds Masters degrees in Administrative Science and Organizational Behavior and a PhD in Organizational Behavior from Yale University. She has lived and worked in Europe and Central America and currently lives in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Prior to this position, Dr. Mazique was the Director of Community Services for Trinity Cathedral of the Episcopal Dioceses of Portland. Dr. Mazique holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from Yale University and works as a consultant for the North Carolina based Center for Creative Leadership. Board member since 1998. Term ends August 2017.

David Mihmis a technology entrepreneur and thought leader in local search visibility. After graduating cum laude from Williams College in 2003, he pursued an M.A. in architecture for a year before catching the entrepreneurial bug and moving to the West Coast. He established his own consulting and web design firm in 2005 focused on helping small businesses attract new customers via the internet, and has worked with over a dozen non-profits to establish and expand their digital presence. In 2008 he co-founded a software company to scale his consulting expertise, GetListed.org, which sold to Moz in 2012. He currently serves on the Advisory Board of SEMpdx, Portland's search marketing trade organization, and is a founding member of an nationwide series of marketing education seminars called Local University.Board member since 2014. Term ends August 2017.

Noelwah R. Netusil is the Stanley H. Cohn Professor of Economics at Reed College in Portland, Oregon. Her research focuses on the economics of urban environmental issues. She is a member of the Independent Economic Analysis Board of the Northwest Power and Conservation Council and serves on the Audubon Society of Portland board. Noelwah has an undergraduate degree from Allegheny College in chemistry and economics and a Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Board member since 2006. Term ends August 2015.

Howard Silvermanteaches systems thinking in the Collaborative Design MFA program at Pacific Northwest College of Art. Formerly with Portland-based nonprofit Ecotrust, he has worked in numerous areas: food systems, fisheries and forestry, green building, climate and energy — and explored numerous approaches: scenario planning, spatial planning, market design, life cycle assessment, and online-offline participatory practices. He is cofounder of the system and scenario design consultancy Pattern Labs, and he blogs at Solving for Pattern. He was Senior Writer and Analyst with Ecotrust. Working with the organization since 1999, he has guided the development of publications across numerous initiatives in a wide variety of media. Core areas of focus include ecosystem service markets, rural-urban market linkages, spatial planning, food systems analysis, life cycle assessment, environmental restoration, and communities of practice. Howard has written, edited, and published materials in collaboration with dozens of Ecotrust partners and clients. He comes to Ecotrust with a B.S. from the Wharton School of University of Pennsylvania and with experience as an English teacher and translator of Mandarin Chinese. Board member since 2011.Term ends 2017.

Jennifer Williamson has served in the Oregon Legislature since 2013 as the State Representative for House District 36, Portland's Westside. She currently holds the position of House Majority Leader. A graduate of the University of Oregon, Jennifer earned her Juris Doctorate cum laude from the Willamette University College of Law.Jennifer practiced at the law firm Davis Wright Tremaine before moving on to work at Portland State University as the Assistant Vice President for Communications and Public Affairs andthe Oregon Department of Education as part of Superintendent Susan Castillo’s executive team.In the legislature, she co-chairs the Joint Ways and Means Subcommittee on Public Safety in addition to being a member of the House Judiciary Committee and the Joint Committee on Ways and Means.Jennifer is also a member of the Oregon Law Commission and Chair of the Justice Reinvestment Grant Review Committee.Board member since 2014. Term ends August 2017.

John W. Hainesjoined MCNW in December 2002 as Executive Director. From 1998-2002, he wasvice president of ShoreBank Pacific, a start-up community and sustainable development bank in Portland, Oregon. From 1996-97 he was senior finance advisor to the Czech National Environmental Fund in Prague, working for Chemonics International under assistance provided by USAID to improve environmental health conditions in the Czech transition to a market economy. From 1994-95 he was executive director of Trenton Business Assistance Corporation, a economic development loan fund in Trenton, NJ. From 1986-1991 he worked in various corporate banking and commercial lending positions with First Interstate Bank of Oregon. He serves on the board of Open Meadow Schools. He has a BS in Finance from the University of Wyoming in 1982. Board member since2003.Term ends with employmentas ex-officio board member.
