Class notes/ Assignments / Class notes are completed correctly and of high quality. Student had added other notes to increase his/her knowledge of the subject. / Class notes are sometimes completed correctly. Student quality is at decent quality. / Class notes are not completed correctly or are missing. Student does not follow up on missed assignments. Student needs to improve quality of content.
Format and Illustrations / The proper format has been followed and all of the visual presentations are creative, original and of high quality. / The proper format is usually followed for all entries. The visuals are sometimes neat and organized. / The proper format has not been followed for all the entries. Improvement is needed in the visual to reflect work that is neat and organized.
Spelling and Grammar / There are 0-2 spelling, punctuation and/or grammar errors. / There are 3-4 spelling, punctuation and/or grammar errors. / There are more than 5 spelling, punctuation and/or grammar errors.

Quality and Completeness / Table of contents is complete and aligns directly with the notes. All items are glued in the correct places, no evidence of missing work as well as effort and quality of works are exceptional. / Table of contents is complete with only 1-2 errors. All items are glued in the correct places, slight evidence of missing work as well as effort and quality are of decent quality. / Table of contents is not complete and does not align directly with the notes. Items are not glued in the correct places, there is evidence of missing work as well as effort and quality are missing.

**The majority of our Social Studies activities are completed and recorded in our Interactive Notebooks. These will be graded at random, usually every couple of weeks and will be recorded as a test grade. Total of 25 points each grading period with the ability to gain an extra 3 points in extra credit.
