Welcome Back Ladies,
I hope everyone is eagerly anticipating Thanksgiving Break!!! If you are interested, I highly recommend first and second year students to apply for this year's Spring Break Corporate Tour! The College of Engineering and the School of Business are heading to Chicago and Milwaukee. In addition, this Sunday November 23rd the MSU Union is hosting the Global Festival. Join us as we travel the world in one day! Lastly, SWE is going to elect a new Historian for the spring semester. If you are interested, prepare a 2-3 minute speech to present as we will vote at the beginning of our next SWE meeting (the Holiday Party).

Since the meeting is about study abroad, I'd like to let you all know that I am a study abroad ambassador for the college of engineering and you can come to me if you have any questions about study abroad opportunities! :) Also, I want to remind national members that the deadline to sign up for regional conference in Jan. 1st 2015.

We want to thank our chairs, Andrea and Sarah, their subcommittee members Allie, Brooke, Jessica, and Julia, and all of our volunteers for making WOW! That’s Engineering! such a huge success! We had 105 4th-8th graders come for the event, and we have even more signed up for the spring event, so please consider volunteering again next semester. Our tentative date is Saturday, March 21st.
We also have several other events planned for next semester, including Girl Scout Day, the Evening with Industry Banquet, Impressions 5, and Day with SWE. If you are interested in getting involved in any of these events, please contact your Event Coordinators:
