Retreat Update

  • Sessions due: _Monday, February 16th_

Jacob has taken an MRF to Carla for retreat. HD’s are currently sending names of people for the retreat to Jacob. The only halls that have sent participants include University Woods, Wisely, and Steen. Applications for Retreat are due Wednesday by 7:00 pm. Jacob has also contacted a Sky Ranch representative to send a packing list for the retreat. Jacob will be bringing waivers for committees at the next General Assembly.

Diane asked if there would be extra spots for retreat, so we will ask Jacob if and when that will be a possibility.

  • Practice?

All the Executives will practice their sessions for retreat Wednesday the 18th, after the Executive meeting.

Executive Applications

  • Executive applications are currently out, and the current execs need to look for people to replace them. The search for new executives needs to be a priority because we did not have many Parents Day applicants. The Execs will be pushing for new execs at senate. Letter of intents for new Execs are due February 18th, and applications are due February 25th.

Budget

Courtney said there is a new updated budget with MRF’s from last semester. We have currently spent$4,588. Courtney will work with Sam on Thursday to go over the budget. We have leftover money from Fall Fest that will be used for Retreat. Money from the concessions stands does not go into the main budget; instead, the money goes into the President account as a savings for the following semesters. Courtney will talk to Carla to approve the numbers and make sure everything adds up.

MRF’s

  • Courtney- When any Exec is getting a quote they need to state “We are getting a quote” not “We are making a reservation”. The Rec and other places will bill RHA if we make a reservation, so we need to make sure we are asking for quotes. If we don’t have an MRF on file, we cannot confirm any quotes. Tiffany will finish filling out her current MRF. Courtney sent Cynthia’s MRF for the t-shirts.
