STAFF FINDERS MISSION

§ Provide departments with highly qualified employees that can readily adapt to the department’s environment and needs.
§ Provide Staff Finders employees with the resources necessary to the successful completion of their placements
§ Provide creative solutions to departmental staffing issues in a timely manner.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
§ Accurately conveys their experience, skills and abilities, in order that Staff Finders may assign the employee to a placement suited to their abilities.
§ Follows all Staff Finders policies as outlined in the orientation material with particular, adherence to procedures as they relate to time sheet submission, reporting sick time and vacation requests.
§ Exercises tact, judgement and sensitivity to the departmental environment; conforms and adapts to the established standards of conduct.
§ At the outset of each placement, requests the following information from the department:
ü Their expectations concerning the quantity of tasks to be performed
ü Their expectations concerning the standard of work quality to be produced
ü Information concerning hours of work and appropriate break times
ü Their policies concerning the personal use of e-mail and internet
ü The departmental reporting structure and procedures as they relate to the placement
§ Immediately communicates to Staff Finders any concerns that may impede the successful completion of the placement.
§ Advises Staff Finders of any reason for absence, tardiness or any other reason that would affect their ability to complete the hours as set out by the department.
§ Makes every effort to maintain and upgrade their office skills through the resources provided by Staff Finders and the University
WORK PERFORMED
Although each assignment will differ in the work performed according to classification, the employee is expected to adhere to following standards as related to:

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
1. Skills
ü Minimum computer skills required
ü Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
ü Electronic mail
ü Ability to type at least 40 nwpm
ü Internet and Intranet access and usage experience preferred
ü Switchboards with headsets, experience preferred
ü Standard office equipment (e.g., photocopiers, calculators)
2. Education
High school graduation supplemented by training in office procedures and practices. University graduation preferred.
3. Experience
Minimum of two years experience in a professional office environment
