YOUTH CHOIR TRIP - 2014!

Our Youth Choir Juniors & Seniors (at their annual dinner) made the decision to travel to BOSTON and several major points along the way! The First & Calvary Session approved our trip, and now it’s our turn to get to work! Therewill be more to do and see than our week can possibly cover, and many great places to sing. Many of you have been very dedicated to our mission of glorying God through our music this year. We hope those of you who have given your time and talents on a regular basis can be a part of this great experience! I am beginning to make plans, but here are some VERY IMPORTANT things that you need to know and that you need to SHARE WITH YOUR PARENTS:

DATES

Youth Choir Musical in worship: SUNDAY, MAY 19TH in the mpr (This is a week earlier than we have done it in the past. We will need every extra minute for travel.)

Youth Choir Trip: FRIDAY, MAY 23RD –FRIDAY, MAY 30TH

OVERNIGHT STAYS

We REALLY need YOUR help with our three big steps in planning this trip:

-Finding churches, retirement centers, or mission shelter-type places in which to sing

-Finding a place to lay our heads each night.

-Finding a worthy mission project for a day of hard work!

ADULT SPONSORS

I already have a full roster of adult sponsors for 2014 (most of them asked to be on the list Please understand that we would LOVE to take everyone with us who would like to go, but that is NOT possible (nor is it fair).

~We take all of the Youth Choir members (grades 8-12) who qualify based on their commitment (attendance). It is true; some members do not qualify for the trip.

~I will take adult sponsors to cover somewhere around a 1:10 ratio.
