OF A SOLE PROPRIETORSHIP
1. Application (form available at the TCCI Registry)
2. Certificate of commencement of business issued by the competent Tax Authority (DOY) (photocopy)
3. Identity Card of applicant (photocopy).
SPECIAL CASES
- In the case of an industry, a photocopy of the Operating Licence, issued by the Directorate of Industry and Mineral Wealth of the Prefecture of Thessaloniki, is required.
- In the case of an alien citizen of the European Union, a Passport photocopy is required. For citizens of any other country, photocopies of a Residence Permit, issued by the Region of Central Macedonia, and a Work Permit, issued by the Employment and Labour Directorate of the Prefecture of Thessaloniki, are required.
- In the case of a branch, a photocopy of the Certificate of Modification for the establishment of the branch, issued by the competent DOY where the firm is based, is required instead of the Certificate of Commencement of Business.
A Certificate of Registration is also required by the Chamber located in the area where the firm is based, as well as a specimen signature of the Branch Manager.
Any future modification (such as change of address, change of object of business, cessation or interruption of business, etc.) in the firm must be declared to our Chamber.

OF A GENERAL OR LIMITED PARTNERSHIP
1. Application (form available at the TCCI Registry)
2. Partnership Agreement on the establishment of the partnership (photocopy)
3. Certificate of commencement of business issued by the competent Tax Authority (DOY) (photocopy)
4. Identity Cards of all partners (photocopies).
SPECIAL CASES
- In the case of an industry, a photocopy of the Operating Licence, issued by the Directorate of Industry and Mineral Wealth of the Prefecture of Thessaloniki, is required.
- In the case of an alien citizen of the European Union, a Passport photocopy is required. For citizens of any other country, photocopies of a Residence Permit, issued by the Region of Central Macedonia, and a Work Permit, issued by the Employment and Labour Directorate of the Prefecture of Thessaloniki, are required (photocopies).
- In the case of a branch, a photocopy of the Certificate of Modification for the establishment of the branch, issued by the competent DOY where the firm is based, is required instead of the Certificate of Commencement of Business, and a photocopy of the branch Director's identity card, as well as his specimen signature, must be submitted instead of the partners' identity cards. A Certificate of Registration is also required by the Chamber located in the area where the firm is based, as well as a photocopy of that part of the firm’s corporate articles of agreement concerning the establishment of the branch, in cases where the establishment is not mentioned in the founding articles of the company.
Any future modification (such as change of address, change of object of business, cessation or interruption of business, etc.) in the firm must be declared to our Chamber.

1. Application (form available at the TCCI Registry)
2. Government Gazette containing a summary of the articles of association or a Receipt of the National Printing House of Greece (TAPET) (photocopy)
3. Articles of Association on the establishment of the company (photocopy)
4. Certificate of commencement of business issued by the competent Tax Authority (DOY) (photocopy)
5. Specimen signatures of the company's managers
6. Identity Cards of all partners (photocopies).
Any future modification (such as change of address, change of object of business, cessation or interruption of business, etc.) in the firm must be declared to our Chamber.

OF BRANCHES OF FOREIGN COMPANIES
SOCIETE ANONYME (S.A.)
LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY (LLC)
1. Application (form available at the TCCI Registry, must be signed by the company's legal representative(s)).
2. Government Gazette containing a summary of the company's articles of association, with which the authorisation for the establishment of the foreign company's (S.A. or LLC) branch in Greece and the appointment of the Proxy - Representative and Attorney is issued by the Prefecture's Companies Directorate, Vas. Irakleiou 12, tel. +30310/554-306 (photocopy).
If the Government Gazette has not yet circulated, photocopies of the following are required:
- for the S.A., an announcement of the establishment entered in the Societé Anonyme Register (M.A.E.).
- for the LLC, a receipt from the National Printing House of Greece (TAPET).
3. Articles of Association on the establishment of the company (photocopy).
4. Certificate of commencement of business issued by the competent Tax Authority (DOY) (photocopy).
5. Specimen signatures of the company's managers.
6. Identity Cards of all members of the Board of Directors who are Greek citizens (photocopies). For foreign EU citizens a Passport is required. For citizens of other countries, a Residence Permit (Region of Central Macedonia - Department of Decentralisation, Taki Oikonomidi & Kath. Rossidi 11, tel. +30310/409-215) and a Work Permit (Employment and Labour Directorate of the Prefecture of Thessaloniki, Fragkon 14, tel. +30310/513-735) are required.
SPECIAL CASES
In the case of an industry, an Operating Licence, issued by the Directorate of Industry and Mineral Wealth of the Prefecture of Thessaloniki (Diikitirio [Ministry of Macedonia and Thrace] tel. +30310/263-685), is required.
In the event that a "Setting-Up Authorisation" has not been issued by the Prefecture (when setting up involves a specific period of time also with respect to the execution of a particular project [e.g. engineering project, etc.] or when it is subject to a special law or special legislative inter-state contracts), the registration of Branches of Foreign Firms takes place without the aforementioned Government Gazette copy, which is replaced by the following, according to the circumstances:
q Articles of Association (of Parent Company) with an official translation.
q Decision to appoint a Tax Representative in Greece.
q Project Contract or other document (stating the time required to establish the facilities).
q Relevant Law or Inter-state Contract (stating the company's exemption from the Setting-Up Authorisation issued by the Prefecture).
