You are invited to attend a Lunch & Learn Workshop presented by LSU Baseball Coach, ASmoke@ Lavall on AOvercoming Adversity.@

Coach Lavall will share what he has learned about overcoming the adversities that are prevalent in competitive team sports. Some of the situations coaches encounter are very similar to those we experience at work: different people and philosophies; changes in environments; dealing with the public; and the pressures of high performance expectations.

Employees can order lunch from AGrand Cru@ or bring their own lunch. You must provide your own soft drink. We encourage you, if possible, to pay by check.

This workshop will also serve as a safety meeting relating to health and well being. Experts agree that effectively controlling stress and adversity can improve the quality of life. Please complete the attached registration form and submit it to the Human Resources Office no later than 3:00 p.m. on Monday, November 18, 2002. Registrations can also be made on-line on AChannel Z.@ The same deadline applies for cancellations which must be phoned in to us at (225) 342-0880.
