Responsibilities Skills:-

Ø  Analysis of Water, Coal and Oil. Operation of RO/DM Plant, STP, ETP, Multiple Effective Evaporators (MEE) and Lichaet Treatment Plant (LTP) on zero liquid discharge.

Ø  Commissioning of RO/DM,ETP and STP.

Ø  About Seven and half years of Experience as a Chemist cum operator quality control water treatment plant.

Ø  Knowledge of water standard by ISO. ISO 9000, ISO 14000, OHSAS 18000.

Ø  Maintaining the chemical hazards, water quality, industrial safety and environment protection with the standard limits.

Ø  Chemical dosing and maintaining chemical level in all chemical dosing points

Ø  Cleaning of all Media filters, RO and DM plant according to schedule for smooth operation.

Ø  Regeneration of DM plant SAC, SBA and MB as per requirement.

Ø  Operation of STP, UF, RO and DM Plant.

Ø  Maintain the level of DM water tank, raw water tank, clarifier water, condensate storage tank and cooling tower.

Ø  Discharge of all reject water from all the systems after maintaining parameters.

Ø  Shift water consumption and generation report.

Ø  All incoming raw chemical testing and giving quality report.

Ø  Trouble shooting of all the problems in the shift.

Ø  Responsible for health and safety of self and coworkers.

Ø  Coordination with shift engineer for any complication and problem.

Ø  Training program organized for the junior chemist and trained them properly.

Ø  Proper handling of lab equipment with safety.

Ø  Calibration of the instruments within time and maintain documents records.

Ø  Maintaining log book and all records in every shift.

Ø  My responsibilities are Raw water, STP waste water, ETP water, Clarified Water (m/up), DM water, cooling water, Boiler Water steam parameter in process treated water monitoring & testing and operation.

Ø  Analysis of Raw Water, ETP and STP waste water like ( pH, Cond, TDS, Turbidity, Hardness, Alkalinity, Chloride, Iron, Sulphate , Silica, jar test, COD, BOD )

Ø  Analysis of M/UP Clarified Water like (pH, EC, TDS, FRC, Turbidity, Hardness, Alkalinity, Chloride, Iron, Sulphate, Silica, etc.)

Ø  Analysis of Demineralised Water plant like (Turbidity, FRC, Iron, Hardness, FMA, CO2, pH, conductivity, Silica etc.)

Ø  Analysis of Cooling Water parameters like (pH, FRC, TDS, Turbidity, Hardness, Alkalinity, Chloride, Zinc, Iron, Sulphate, Silica, Phosphate, Oil and Grease, etc.)

Ø  DM plant operation, regeneration of SAC, SBA, MB and STP operation and analysis.

Ø  RO operation, chemical dosing, RO membrane chemical cleaning, flushing and maintain RO outlet water quality and analysis.

Ø  Ultra filtration operation, chemical cleaning and back wash.

Ø  STP operation chemical dosing and maintain water quality.

Ø  SWAS & in process boiler water & steam parameter monitoring & testing: pH, Cond, Silica, Hydrazine, Chloride, Phosphate etc.

Ø  Lignite Coal testing which include moisture, Ash, Volatile matter, fixed Carbon, GCV and NCV.

Ø  Fly ash and Bottom ash sieve analysis and check the unburned carbon percentage.
