Unit Objectives & Standards: (CT Standards 9.2, 9.3, 10.3 and 13.1)
- Students will be able to demonstrate the ability to perform the following skills at developmentally appropriate levels:
- Catching, throwing, running, blocking, flagging, and body control
- Students will develop knowledge about the rules and concepts related to game play:
- Defense, Offense, Off-sides, penalties
- Students will develop an understanding of all “field positions” in order to play.
- Offense, defense and special teams positions
