NWEA MAP Report Site
Getting Started:
ü Go to https://reports.nwea.org/Login.aspx
ü Enter your username and password.
ü Once logged in, notice links to various features along the left hand side of the screen.
Overview of Online Reports
1. Teacher Reports: A list of all of your students tested in order of lowest score to highest score.
· Includes test date, standard error, RIT scores, percentiles, and subcategory scores
2. Class Rosters: Individual reports on each student. This is the report for parents.
· Option: Click on “Both” under #4 on this report to get a graph comparing your students’ scores to the norm and district scores.
3. Class By Subject: A way to print your whole class by subject area: Math or Reading.
· RIT scores (lowest to highest) OR
· In alphabetical order by last name
Simply select the subject area: Math or Reading
4. Grade By Subject: You can print the entire grade by subject area: Math or Reading.
· RIT Scores (lowest score to highest) OR
· In alphabetical order by last name
Simply select the subject area: Math or Reading
Overview of Instructional Resources
Class By RIT: A way to group your students and see sub-skill sets for work with small intervention groups.
· 1st Screen shows overall (composite) score groupings.
· Click on either Mathematics or Reading for sub-skills breakdown.
· Click on a student’s name for skills listings.
· 3 columns will appear:
a. Left Column: “To enhance” – skills learned, use for independent or more practice
b. Middle Column: “To develop” – skills to focus for direct instruction
c. Right Column: “To introduce” – skills to introduce to students
Overview of Data-Tools
*Select “Dynamic Reports” Link: once this is selected, click again on Dynamic Reports link, and it will take you to a new home page, with ‘Report Links’ along left tool bar.
The following are the ‘Report Links’ along the left:
1. Teacher Class Overview – main screen in Dynamic Reports
· This gives graphs for predicted performance on KPREP, distribution, and % of your class that made expected growth for the previous testing year.
2. Goal by RIT band – Click on a sub-skill RIT band to see which of your students fell in that area.
3. Grade by RIT band - Click on a RIT band to see which of your students fell in that area.
4. Lexile Report – See a graph that shows the Lexile levels of your class.
5. Student Booklist – Allows you to choose books for your students within their Lexile Range. Follow these steps:
· Select your class by hitting the arrow to move your class over to the 2nd box.
· Then enter book titles or topics for searching to see what books would be within your students’ Lexile ranges.
· Hit ‘Run Document’ when you have your class and search words entered.
(You might be surprised how high some of the books are!)
6. Student Goal Setting Worksheet – Run individual goal setting sheets for each of your students.
· 1st select to limit by either class or teacher (doesn’t matter which you pick).
· Hit ‘Run Document’ at top.
· Move your class to the 2nd box with the arrow and hit ‘Run Document.’
· Click on the PDF button in the top left corner for easier navigating.
· Click on + sign until you get a list of your students.
· Click on student’s name to see their goal sheet.
7. Student Projected Performance Sheet – A list of your students and how they are projected to be on KPREP.
· Select your class and move it to the 2nd box.
· Hit ‘Run Document.’
