It’s official! East Coast Credit Union and Heritage Credit Union have merged to serve you better.With assets in excess of $320 million and a membership of approximately 30,000,we are partners in making our community stronger, serving a network of 20 branches located within the counties of Halifax Regional Municipality, East Hants, Colchester, Antigonish, Guysborough, Inverness, Richmond and Victoria.
How will the merger affect you?
In the short term, your day-to-day banking experiences will not change. For you, it’s business as usual. You can continue banking at your current branch location and logging into your online accounts. Information such as account numbers, debit cards, credit cards and cheques will all remainthe same. Over the next year we will work with you towards a full transition and when changes begin to happen – you will be the first to know.
Members can continue to do online banking from or until our new website is developed.
East Coast announces new President & CEO
The Board of Directors of East Coast Credit Union are pleased to announce that Ken Shea has been selected as the President and CEO of East Coast Credit Union.
Ken brings a wealth of experience to the role, and we are confident he is well suited to continue growing your credit union. “I am extremely pleased to accept this role and look forward to working with the staff and members in this great organization”, says Ken Shea, President and CEO, East Coast Credit Union.

DARTMOUTH BRANCH TEMPORARY CHANGE TO HOURS OF BUSINESS DUE TO CONSTRUCTION.
