Dear Alumnus,

In just four short years, MageeSecondary School will celebrate its 100th anniversary. In preparation for our centennial, we are taking steps to re-connect with the people who have been a part of Magee’s history - our valued grads! For this reason, I am writing to you about an opportunity to re-connect with the school.

The Magee of 2010 continues to be an exceptional school: a school that is recognized for its high level of academic achievement and strong athletic, fine arts and applied skills programs. Additionally, many of today’s Magee students are making some incredible contributions to the wider community with a number of socially responsible initiatives. As we approach our centennial, it is important for those who pass through our storied hallways in the next century to know and appreciate the history and the legacies of you who have gone before.

To begin the re-connection process with our valued alumni, I would like to invite you to join me and a host of your peers for a special Grads Only Evening, on Thursday, April 22 at 7:00 pm at the ‘new’ Magee. The purpose of this evening is to introduce you to the Magee of 2010, to some of the students and the community projects that they are completing, and to officially launch our newlycreated endowment fund that will form part of our centennial celebration.

The evening will include an introduction to the school, several very informative presentations (including the introduction of our Honorary Patron), and an optional tour of the school. During the course of the evening you will be entertained by students in our String Orchestra, and you will have the opportunity to connect with grads from a variety of years. Light refreshments will be provided.
