Aims of the module
- to explore ways of encouraging adults in developing their discipleship
- to explore how adults learn
- to looks at links between discipleship and mission
- to set discipleship in the context of the life of the local church
Learning Outcomes (Knowledge & Understanding, Evaluation, Skills)
At the end of this module students will be able to:
- demonstrate an understanding of adult learning styles
- demonstrate an understanding of the different methods by which members can develop their discipleship within the local church
- explain how to lead a house group
- explain how developing personal discipleship contributes to the overall mission of the local church
