· Neptune Guidance on the Clinical Management of acute and chronic harms of club drugs and novel psychoactive substances is now recommended as a supplementary resource. This free resource is available as a PDF from the website: neptune-clinical-guidance.co.uk/
· Non-MI funded resources – inclusion on Essential Resources List (ERL) – at the previous meeting it was agreed that Point of Care tools that are available via funding external to MI should not be included on the ERL. On further discussion it was agreed that although this decision still stood, any issues highlighted with such resources would be included in the Limitations document.
· The electronic version of the Evelina Paediatric Formulary (Guy’s) does not contain the guidance on the treatment of conditions which is included in the book, The book (containing this guidance) was last published in 2010.
· Faculty of Pain Medicines: Opioids Aware is now included as a supplementary resource. This resource for patients and healthcare professionals to support prescribing of opioid medicines for pain is freely available at: www.rcoa.ac.uk/faculty-of-pain-medicine/opioids-aware
· Cancer drug interactions website is now recommended as a supplementary resource. Jointly produced with the University of Liverpool, it is a sister site to the HIV & hepatitis interaction checkers. It is freely available at: cancer-druginteractions.org/checker
· British Association of Dermatology website is now recommended as a supplementary resource. It is freely available at: www.bad.org.uk/
· No single source is totally comprehensive or completely up-to-date in all respects, and all databases have the potential to have search function anomalies; use your professional judgement to decide when you need to verify facts in another resource.
· Drug misuse and dependence: UK guidelines on clinical management 2017 (The Orange guide) are now available.
· The UKMi Enquiry Answering Guidelines have been updated and are available to view on the SPS website at:

· An update of the Limitations document will be available at www.sps.nhs.uk/articles/ukmi-recommended-information-lists-and-tools .
IRMIS
· There has been an increase in incident reports for Q2 2017.
· Please continue to ensure that all incidents and near misses are reported to the IRMIS database. The IRMIS report facilitates learning from incidents and near misses; it identifies trends in reporting and increases awareness of common errors which can lead to changes in practice where necessary.
