Skolkovo startups exhibit their hi-tech projects at SENSOR+TEST 2015 Fair in Germany
Top Skolkovo startups will show their R&D at the international specialized Measurement Fair SENSOR+TEST 2015, which will take place in Nurnberg, Germany, on 19-21 May 2015. It is the leading global expo in the area of sensor, measuring and testing technologies – from micro sensors to complex test suites, from ready-for-market solutions to customized services. Products and services represented at the expo allow measuring any parameter, test any machine or material and monitor work of any system.
Igor Karavaev, VP, Executive Director of Nuclear Cluster, Skolkovo Foundation:“This year three promising Skolkovo startups take part in the SENSOR+TEST Fair. Sensors and monitors are the key topic for Nuclear Cluster. I expect the expansion of business contacts network for our companies and growth of their foreign contracts’ portfolio as a result of the Fair”.
Skolkovo companies will showcase their projects in Hall 12.
Company / Technology / StandThin Film Technology / Multilayer thin-film semiconductor functional coating synthesis technologies development for tensometric sensitive elements.
Goal: development of synthesis technology variations allowing to widen final devices application field due to operating temperature range widening up to 320-550 °C for atomic, automobile and power plant engineering industries. / Hall 12, stand 291
Technoautomat / Ultrasonic level detector RUBIN-1M is assigned for monitoring the level of liquid inside vessels against the location of installation of the acoustic sensors disposed on the outer side of the container being tested, counting the number of cycles and control for the actuator of liquid in the automatic reset mode. / Hall 12, stand 398
LED Microsensor NT / New optoelectronic devices for the Mid-Infrared spectral range open completely new possibilities for portable sensors creation. Using Mid-infrared LED-PD optopairs allows developing an instrument that is smaller, less expensive and versatile. / Hall12, stand 505
About the Skolkovo Foundation
The Skolkovo Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in September 2010 by the Russian government with the objective of accelerating Russia’s transformation from a resource-intensive to an innovation-based economy. To achieve this objective, the Foundation is overseeing the creation of the Skolkovo Innovation Center, composed of more than 1,000 high-tech startups, Skolkovo Technopark, the Skolkovo Institute of Technology (Skoltech) - a new graduate research University established in collaboration with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology - and Skolkovo city, located near Moscow. Together, these entities establish a vibrant ecosystem of technology innovation and entrepreneurship. Fifty global corporations including Boeing, Cisco Systems, EADS, GE, Johnson & Johnson, IBM, Intel, Microsoft, Siemens, Nokia, Samsung, and Panasonic have already recognized the opportunity Skolkovo presents by signing R&D partnership agreements with the Foundation. The cumulative revenue of Skolkovo’s startups through December 2014 reached $1 billion. They brought in more than $220 million in investment, creating 13,500 jobs and filing over 1,300 patent applications along the way. By 2020 over 2 million square meters of residential and office space will be built in Skolkovo with 35,000 people working daily in the Innovation Center. For more information:
