Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
To undertake reception duties, managing the switchboard console, answering telephone calls and face to face enquiries and the signing in/supervision of visitors.
To ensure safeguarding guidelines are applied with all visitors to RDUTC.
To assist visitors with directions around RDUTC.
To provide refreshments when required.
To undertake general administrative duties, including reprographics, filing, typing, sorting post.
To support the Finance Director with the placement and checking of orders against agreed requisitions.
To provide efficient communication across RDUTC using the Call Out system, email, phone and staff mobiles.
To liaise with parents, students, staff and the general public.
To ensure the Reception area, Board Rooms and Meeting Rooms present an attractive and stimulating environment.
To maintain high standards of professional behaviour towards colleagues and students alike.

The above duties may involve having access to information of a confidential nature, which may be covered by the Data Protection Act. Confidentiality must be maintained at all times.
The postholder must be flexible to ensure the operational needs of RDUTC are met.
