Beetle Workshop
Monday, October 23rd, 2:00 – 6:00 pm
Dr. David White from Murray State University ( will facilitate a 4 hour workshop on aquatic Coleoptera. Dr. White is also the director of the Hancock Biological Station located in western Kentucky. The workshop will include an approximately 1 hour lecture followed by 3 hours for participants to work through keys to generic level. A range of specimens will be provided, but bringing specimens to work through is encouraged. Some extra microscopes will be provided, but, depending on the number of participants, some may need to bring their own microscope. Details will be finalized closer to the date.
