13. / Welcome and Apologies
Jeni was introduced as a new member of the Tenant Involvement team.
Adoption of Minutes and Matters arising
Minutes accepted as a true and accurate record.
Trackside slabbing issue have now been resolved.
Estate Improvements Budget
Laura ran through the Estate Improvements budget.
The group looked at spending at Bayberry Gardens and Farrier House, both projects have already been agreed due to safety or necessity.
ASB and Hate crimes policy
Laura ran through the amendments.
Comments:
Pauline felt clarity was needed on the difference between ASB and Hate crimes.
The group would like to know what impact the scrutiny reports have had on the development of the policy.
Pauline advised that she believes the statistics for ASB are often quite outdated and would like confirmation on the frequency of reported statistics.
Complaints Policy
Laura ran through the policy amendments.
Comments:
The group felt that NCHA should reconsider having a designated complaints panel. Pauline will raise this at Collective.
KPIs Q2
KPIs were discussed. There were no comments.
Collective CAP Update
The group were advised by the Collective panel representatives that the panel are now having pre meetings.
Terms of Reference
The group discussed the amendments to the TOR for each CAP /Panel. The changes reflect that members can not be self nominated.
Training
Laura advised of Energy efficiency training and Equality and Diversity training opportunities.
There were no requests for training on this occasion.
Dementia Friends Awareness
Guest Speaker, Lucy Cooper from Dementia Friends provided a session on Dementia Awareness.
Estate Issues
The uneven slabs at Trackside Close have been re-laid however the contractor advised this may be a reoccurring issue due to tree roots.
Can Trackside tenants be advised of any future estate inspections?
Dog fouling continues to be an issue at Trackside Close, specific perpetrator details were provided to be passed on to the Estate Officer
Ida wished to praise all those involved with her house move.
The bin store Digi lock system at Garrett square is persistently being damaged or is faulty.
There are still sparse areas or planting at Garrett Square.
Alan raised concerns over cars being damaged due to children playing out at Old Dalby.
