- The Archangel Michael stands at all times before God and intercedesfor mankind.
- Many references of him in the bible, including to Joshuato help him defeat Jericho: “… as Commander of the army of the Lord ... I have given Jericho into your hand ... and its king." (Joshua 5:13-15, 6:2)
- The Archangel Michael was with all the saints and martyrs, to strengthen& encouragethem to endure persecutionspatiently.

- A God-fearing man namedDorotheus and his wife Theopista, celebrated the feast of the Archangel Michael on the twelfth day every month.
- The family became poor and had no money; they planned to sell their clothes to get money for the celebration.
- Archangel Michael appeared to Dorotheus and told him not to sell his clothes, but to do the following: 1) go to a sheep-master and get a sheep worth one-third of a dinar,2) go to a fisherman and get a fish worth one-third of a dinar but not to open upfish, and 3)go to a flour merchant and take as much flour as needed.
- Dorotheus did as the Angel commanded. He invited his friends to the feast forArchangelMichael. When Dorotheus went to his storage, he was amazed to findall empty containers were filled with many good things.
- After thecelebrationthe Archangel appeared to Dorotheus commanded him to cut open the fish. He found 300 dinars of gold 3 coins each is one third of a dinar. He told him these 3 coins were for the sheep, fish and flour, and the 300 dinars were for him and his children.
- Archangel Michael also said: "I am Michael the Archangel who delivered you from all your tribulations and I have taken your oblations and alms up to God, you shall lack no good thing whatsoever in this world."
MANOAH AND THE ANGEL OF GOD
- Manoah & his wife could not have children.
- The Angel of the Lord appeared to Manoah’s wife telling her she will have a son, and the boy will be dedicated to God and deliver Israel from its enemy.
- She went & told Manoah, who asked God to send the Angel again to teach them how to bring up the child.
- The Angel instructed that the child to be brought up to be holy and set apart to do God’s work.
- Then Manoah & his wife offered a sacrifice to the Lord.
- The wife gave birth to a boy, his name was SAMSON!
- God gave Manoah & his wife what they needed even before asking for it.
