Congratulations! You have been accepted to Oahu’sRotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) Camp which takes place the weekend of Friday, March 29ththrough Sunday, March 31st, 2013at Camp Timberline on the North Shore of Oahu. Camp Timberline address 1 Palejhua Rd. Kapolei, (808) 542-4945 Emergency Phone. If you choose, your family may drive you to camp. Please arrive no later than 2:00 pm Friday November 4th.

Bus transportation will be available from three locations around Oahu. A Rotarian or Assistant Camp Facilitator will at each stop to check students in and answer any questions. The bus will bring you back to the same locations on Sunday at about 2:00 pm.

Bus Pick up Locations and Times:

NoonSaint Louis High School/Chaminade

12:30 pm Farrington High School – meet at the front of school (right) auditorium side King Street

1:00 pmWaipahu High School – meet in the front of the school

1:00 pmKailua High School – meet in front of the school

1:45 pmWaialua High School – meet in the front of the school

2:00 pm Arrive at Camp Timberline

Our number one priority is the safety and security of the participants. The Code of Conduct will be enforced strictly. If you commit a violation you will be asked to leave RYLA Camp. Your parent/guardian/emergency contact will be called to transport you home.

The program will be based on a high level of individual and team participation in an effort to help the all campers develop and practice leadership skills. This leadership program is planned to help you to better confront the challenges that you might face as you move into adulthood and the world of work.

Parents are invited to join us on Sunday at 10:45 a.m. for the graduation ceremony and the celebration lunch. The program will end at1:00 p.m. If your parents plan to attend on Sunday, please let me know before Friday, March 29thso we have sufficient food.
