DEVELOPING A PLAN (Must complete research steps before moving onto this step!)

o Develop outline/script for presentation showing thesis and supporting details
o Create storyboard for documentary (see website for form)
o Create detailed blueprint of exhibit, including illustrations and section headings (see website for form)
o Create paper mockup of website, including organization, page division, and the locations of potential illustrations and interactive elements (see website for form)
o Write tentative script or outline of performance. Include characters, times, location, thesis statement, supporting ideas, and conclusion.
PROJECT CREATION (Must have project plan approved before moving onto this step!)

FINAL EVALUATION CRITERIA

_____I/we have a clearly stated thesis that unifies my project.
_____I/we use both primary and secondary source material to support my thesis.
_____I/we use a broad amount of resources instead of relying on one or two main sources.
_____I/we have provided historical context for my topic.
_____I/we have demonstrated the overall significance of my project in history.
_____I/we have analyzed and interpreted evidence instead of regurgitating facts.
_____I/we have presented different points of view in order to have balance.
_____My/our project can stand alone for someone who has no idea about my topic.
_____My/our project demonstrates originality and creativity.
_____I/we have an annotated bibliography with resources listed in proper form and divided in to primary and secondary sources. Partners have combined their bibliographies into one document.
