Primary ABQ Practicum – Distance

You are required to spend 12 hours in a primary classroom setting

You can arrange your own practicum at a local school but you can only begin your practicum after the course start date

Necessary (downloadable) forms are available on class Blackboard once the course begins

Other summer options include: summer school, summer camps, daycare facilities, etc.

Junior ABQ Practicum – Distance

You are required to spend 12 hours working with Junior Division Learners

You can arrange your own practicum at a local school but you can only begin your practicum after the course start date

You are required to spend 12 hours working with Intermediate Division Learners

Special Education, Part I Practicum – Distance

You are required to spend a minimum of 24 hours of work with 2 or more students with different identified exceptionalities

12 of these 24 hours are used for observation

You will be asked to apply your observations in course assignments

You can arrange your own practicum at a local school but you can only begin your practicum after the course start date
