Course Description: A study of the role of the cooperating teacher in clinical, student teaching, or internship programs. Attention will be given to the development of understandings and skills essential in working effectively with teacher candidates.

WORKSHOP OPTION / ONLINE OPTION
Workshop: No cost

·  Time: 9:00-1:00
·  Participants will receive a Certificate of Training
·  Room: Sage Hall 1232
Cooperating teachers, needing training for the spring 2016 semester, are encouraged to attend.

Graduate Credit Option
1 credit - $100
·  Attendance at Workshop is required
·  Time: 1:00-1:15 (online Workshop Assignments and registration will be discussed)
·  Participants will receive a graduate credit and a Certificate of Training / Workshop: No cost
·  Mon. Aug. 14th, 2017
·  Location: ON CAMPUS
·  Time: 9:00-1:00
·  Participants will receive a Certificate of Training

Module #1: PI34 and UW Oshkosh
Module #2: the Job of Supervision
·  Completion of Module #1 and Module #2 will result in a training certificate.
Module #3: Application
·  Completion of Module #1, #2 and #3 will result in a training certificate and 1 graduate credit ($100).

For teachers who have previously received training in the supervision of student teachers prior to 2004 OR who have not received training but have supervised multiple student teachers in the past:
Module #4: Refresher
·  Completion of Module #4 will result in a training certificate.
·  A graduate credit ($100) is available. Participants must complete the online Workshop Assignments.
This course is for teachers who have never received training in the supervision of student teachers or for those who would like a face-to-face “refresher.” / This offering may be completed in your own time, at your own pace.
