How do I use Sign Up Genius?

You might want to print this out so you have it available while you go through the steps. I find it annoying to jump back and forth between Windows on a step-by-step basis!

  1. Go to
  2. Click on Find a Signup (near upper left hand corner)
  3. On the right side of the page you will see "If you know the person that created the sign up, enter his/her email." Enter DON'T click on anything yet.
  4. Right under the email address that you just entered, you will see one of those funny squiggly words to enter or you will see an advertisement. Under the ad, it will say, "Please enter: [some phrase]". Enter the squiggly word or the phrase.
  5. Click on SEARCH
  6. You will see two events that I have created: SUGAR - Dance Auditions and SUGAR - Song/Monologue Auditions. It doesn't matter which you sign up for first but you MUST SIGN UP FOR BOTH before the dates of the auditions!

DANCE AUDITIONS:

  • Click on SUGAR - Dance Auditions.
  • Decide which of the time slots you want and click Sign Up.
  • On the Sign Up page, you will see the time you selected. Available Slot: Dance. QTY: 1 (Do NOT change this #) You are not permitted to sign up anyone else. If you and a friend want to audition during the same slot, go through the process back to back of each other.
  • In the appropriate places, add your name and email address (so you can be sent a reminder of your date and time).
  • You can click on
  • "Create an account at SignUp Genius ....." OR
  • "Send me a confirmation email ...."  I have also required that you add your phone number. Use the pull down menu if you are giving us a cell (mobile) phone #. The phone # does not appear to the public. It is for our use only.
  • Click on Sign Up

There are slots for 48 people to sign up for dance auditions. I will continue to monitor the sign ups and, if it starts filling up, I will add more slots or more people to each slot.

ACTING/SINGING AUDITIONS

  • If you are going to sign up for your acting/singing audition at the same time, all you have to do is go up to the menu bar and click on Find a Sign Up. From that point, pick up at Step 3 above. After Step 6, continue below. Click on SUGAR – Song/Monologue Auditions.
  • Decide which day and time slot you want and click Sign Up.
  • On the Sign Up page, you will see the time you selected. Available Slot: Acting/Singing.
  • In the appropriate places, add your name and email address (so you can be sent a reminder of your date and time).
  • You can click on
  • "Create an account at SignUp Genius ....." OR

  • Click on Sign Up

There are slots for just over 40 people to sign up for Acting/Singing auditions. I will continue to monitor the sign ups and, when the spaces fill up, I will add more.
