19thSeptember, 2015 activity of Utthan Lab, a CSR initiative of the ITS, Ghaziabad was a gala day for the excited children who availed the opportunity of getting the live pictures clicked with the popular Bollywood stars who were at the ITS Campus for the promotion of their upcoming movie ‘Bhaag Johny’.

Volunteers of the day Ankur Agarwal, Hena Das, Kanika Goel, Sher Singh Chauhan and Akansha Saxena started the day with the roll call followed by the brief on the day’s activities and the competition.

The activities for the day included a session on the application of MS Word and the Internet followed by the General Knowledge Competition. In the first session the students were briefed about the MS Word document generation. They were told how to insert a table in the text. They were also trained for copying pictures from Internet and pasting them in the MS Word document.

In the second session of the day, the little children tried their brains during the G.K. Competition which was conducted in two rounds. First round was written while the second round was oral. Besides, First, Second and the Third Prizes, 15 other performers were awarded with appreciation and gifts. First four winners got the fabulous school bags as prizes while the five talented children won the puppy soft toys.

The day had gone special for the children when they got to know that the Bollywood stars Kunal Khemu, Zoa Morani and Mandana Karimi are at the ITS campus for the promotion of their upcoming movie ‘Bhaag Johny’. Children were overjoyed and excited when they really shared sofa with the film stars and got the precious pictures clicked.

The daylong celebration ended with the Cold drinks and snacks. Attractive prizes were given to all the children. Prof. Gopal Krishna Dwivedi convened the activity as the faculty coordinator of Utthan Lab.
