Call for Entries
Purpose:To honor the collaborative efforts of the architect, contractor and owner of a project that embodies design excellence, exhibits outstanding craftsmanship, and exemplifies teamwork, resulting in a project that serves the owner’s mission functionally, financially and aesthetically.
Eligible:Eligible entries include any work of architecture buildings or building complexes completed since January 1, 2000and located within the state of Arizona. The project must be designed by an AIA Arizona member in good standing. The contractor shall be a licensed contractor in the state of Arizona.
Jury:Submittals will be juried by a panel of AIA Arizona Fellows invited by the Arizona College of Fellows (no jury member shall cast a vote concerning any award for which the member participated in nominating).
Awards
Publicity:The winning nominee will receive a Certificate of Excellence from AIA Arizona and be recognized at the 2009Celebrate Architecture Presentation, September 26 at the Phoenix Convention Center North Ballroom. An effort will be made to include the winner in publicity resulting from the Design Awards program and in other AIA Arizona publications. The winner will be asked to provide one (1) digital image for publicity purposes.
Release
Waiver:By submitting a nomination, entrants take full responsibility for the accuracy of all information submitted and warrant that all necessary permissions have been obtained from others who may have rights to the work. Entrants further acknowledge that no royalty or compensation is due anyone, hold AIA Arizona, its sponsors, staff, consultants, and members harmless from all liability and grant to AIA Arizona the non-exclusive right to publish, reproduce and distribute copies of the original entry.
