Welcome to our November newsletter,
Now we are really into the business end of the year, first, at the Christmas breakup we again will be having a Kris Kringle gift giving for each family as in other years, so your donation of a gift to the value of $30 would be appreciated, more detail on the Break Up in our next newsletter.
Bemm was again a big success although this year none of those 2lb plus Bream were there although that was made up for with some huge Luderick and Salmon .
Again the “cook up” on Friday night was a great success and the meat was delicious, many thanks to Matt and Kerr.
Guys for both the Juniors day and Christmas break up we need to know who is going for catering purposes so if your going can you contact either me by email
or Barras on 0408108039 or Skeg on 0417138516
Razz has the webb site up and running, our address is
www.berwickanglingclub.org.au
the access code is fish0 be certain the zero at the end of the code is from the numeral part of the keypad. Guys there are lots of pics, jokes and information plus recipes but we still need more so if you have any you can add then email them to Razz at
. TONY’S TRASH
Bemm was again a big success although it did seem to lack some of the antics from previous years, maybe because most of the clubs clowns were up at Crocker Island, I do understand that the small dogs of Bemm River were relieved when they found out that “Killer McGill” was not coming to town.
The boys are back from up north and I understand that there were plenty of big fish caught and stacks of grog sunk, to give you some idea of the size of the fish, the photographs alone weighed 25kg, well done guys, I’m jealous.
If you want to know what the bottom is like at the Warneet pontoon jetty then ask Mad Max Adlam, I here he has been carrying out an unplanned diving inspection there.
And yes, just to keep Wassa happy ,I have to own up and admit that when I left home to head for Bemm I did a Wassa and left the clip for the ball coupling on the trailer in the raised position, the result was that when I pulled on to Pound road I heard an almighty bang and crash and when looking in the rear vision mirror discovered the bow of the boat a lot lower than it should have been, how embarrassing!
