INDUSTRIAL INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME
SEMESTER 2 AY 2014/2015 (12 JANUARY 2015 TO 13 JUNE 2015)
DATA ENTRY GUIDE
You are required to
Step 1.Attend and pass the safety training via the NTULearn by a specific deadline given by CAO in order to be given access to the “IIP Registration & Selection of Organsiations/Projects” module.
Step 2.Prepare your resumes. You can create your own version or use the template in ‘Create/Update Resume(s) for IIP’ in the StudentLink. If you do not include your modules and results in your resume, please append your Degree Audit to your resume. Your resume must be in in PDF format and maximum 1 MB file-size.
Step 3.Search for IIP organisations and their projects you are interested in.
Step 4.Key in your preferred choices of organisations and their respective field, work nature and project codes, and other relevant information via “Search & Selection of Organisations/Projects for IIP” via StudentLink by 15 September 2014 (Monday), 5.00pm. If you do not key in any information at all under the “Search & Selection of Organisations/Projects for IIP” option in StudentLink by 15 September 2014 (Monday), 5.00pm, you will be deemed as not applied for IIP and hence will not be allocated any IIP organisation.
Check that your contact no., handphone no. and term address are updated. We may need to contact or write to you on matters relating on IIP.

Note : Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) has made a standing arrangement with the universities that undergraduate NSmen would be called up for In-Camp Training (ICT) only during specific parts of the university vacations. During these periods, known as the ICT Call-Up Period, MINDEF will not grant deferment on the grounds of academic commitments. Therefore, NSmen students called up for ICT during the ICT Call-Up period can apply for Special Leave and extend their internship to make up for the period missed.
If their ICT is however outside the ICT Call-Up period, they are required to apply to MINDEF to defer their NS training.
