COURSE GRADING POLICY FOR BREAKDOWN OF CLASS WORK:
Daily work/Homework: 15%
Labs/Quizzes: 25%
Tests/ Quizzes and Projects: 60%
Total: 100%
EXAM EXEMPTIONS:
All students will be required to take the Physical Science EOCT. Students may exempt the semester final exam for a course in the following way:
· A students must have an average of 70 or above, miss no more that 3 days per semester, and have no more than 3 tardies per semester..

SOME BASIC CLASSROOM RULES:
1. Be on time to class.
2. Be in your seat when the bell rings and begin warm-up immediately.
3. Listen when others are speaking.
4. Respect yourself and others.
5. Follow directions the first time they are given.
6. No food or drink is allowed in class. Water is OK.

Forensic Science Course Description
The Forensic Science curriculum is designed to build upon science concepts and to apply science to the investigation of crime scenes. It serves as a fourth year of science for graduation and may serve in selected Career Technology programs. Students will learn the scientific protocols for analyzing a crime scene, how to use chemical and physical separation methods to isolate and identify materials, They will also learn how to analyze biological evidence and criminal use of tools, including impression from firearms, and tool marks.
I have received and read the syllabus and classroom rules. I understand them and will abide by the classroom rules in Ms. House’s class.
