Fitness Class Descriptions:
Abs & Toning:The goal of this class is to exercise your core muscles. Every class includes warm-ups, core exercises, and a stretching period. The core exercises performed throughout each class period progressively increase in difficulty. Exercises range from basic crunches to more complex movements. Increasing the strength and endurance of your core muscles will improve you posture, breathing during exercise, and prevent back pain associated with weak abdominals and tight hamstrings.
Boot Camp:The goal of this class is to improve your speed, endurance, agility, and strength. This class is intended for those who haveat least moderate experiencewith exercise. The class is structured as an 8 week exercise program. The first and last classes of the 8 week program are testing days. You will be able to see your improvements in your 1-mile run, shuttle run, pushups, and crunches after the last testing day has been completed. Every class starts with warm-ups and dynamic stretching. Then you will perform a variety of endurance, speed, agility, and strength exercises. Each class will conclude with a few core exercises and then stretching.
YOGA:Modified for all levels, yoga is an ancient practice of strengthening the mind and body. Energize your day with sequences of poses, focusing on breathing, flexibility and balance. Relieve stress and cultivate peace of mind.
CYCLE: You’ll ride to the rhythm of powerful music in this indoor cycling workout and take on the terrain with your inspiring team coach, who leads the pack through hills, flats, mountain peaks, time trials and interval training.Definitely, a big calorie burner.
PILATES: An effective class that focuses on the abdominal and back and works all core muscles.
CARDIO DANCE/ZUMBA: A low-impact, whole body, group-fitness workout. Latin-inspired dance moves combined with hip-hop rhythms make this class a blast. It’s always a party.
YOGA/PILATES: A great combination of both Yoga and Pilate workouts
Water Aerobics: is rhythmic dance or exercise steps performed in usually chest deep water. The purpose is to enhance cardiovascular fitness and muscular endurance. It is an exercise for all body parts like limbs, chest, abdomen, neck and back.
