Qualifications for Nomination: Nominee must be a current or native born resident of Pennsylvania (or employee in PA) who has received outside recognition as a significant achiever in snow sports. They should be currently or have been actively engaged in the development, promotion, and preservation of skiing or snowboarding across Pennsylvania.
They must qualify in two or more of the categories below:
Area Operations and/or Management or Development
Competition[competitor, official, judge, course worker, sponsor, organizer]
Government[official or employee related to snowsports]
Innovation[inventors, etc.]
Instruction[directors, instructors, coaches]
Media Leaders
or Innovators[editors, reporters, authors, creators in all media related positions]
Military[service in the military pertaining to skiing or snow sports]
Organizers/leaders[club, council, federation, association]
Patrol[individuals who have distinguished themselves statewide]
SnowSports Industry[equipment, clothing – sales/rental and suppliers]
Special Olympics, Etc.[snowsports contenders, sponsors, guides, equipment, special needs etc.
Other[other snow sports activities as well as any activity in snowsports not listed above]
Materials to Be Submitted:

1. Biographical sketch that describes the categories in which the person is being nominated and the activities in each category for which the person is being nominated.
2. Photograph of Nominee in good quality digital format.
3. Names of individuals submitting letters of nomination (Minimum of three required); one by nominator is acceptable as one of the three.

NOTE: Candidates approved by the Board will be notified by a Museum Board Officer of their selection and candidate is expected to confirm that he/she will accept the award and attend the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on September 8-9, 2017. Candidates are expected to become “Life” associates (members) of the Museum if not already a member.
