1st Strike: Warning
2nd Strike: Parental Contact and Reflection Report
3rd Strike: Parental Contact, Detention with Teacher, and Responsibility Conference Form
4th Strike: Student referred to Administration
Level I Infractions: tardy to class without a pass, disrespect towards self, peers, school, or staff, failure to be prepared for class, disregard of classroom rules, failure to follow flex procedures, inappropriate behavior in hallways, dress code violations, gum chewing, inappropriate language, use of personal technology device without teacher permission (see back for BYOT policy)

Missed Homework Policy (Team Twister Policy)
-The Missed Homework Policy starts fresh every marking period.
1st missed assignment: Warning
2nd missed assignment: Email to Parent
3rd missed assignment: Phone Call to Parent
-Missed homework must be turned in the following day BEFORE homeroom. (7:20am-7:38am)
-If missed homework is not turned in before homeroom, a Working Lunch will occur.

Guidelines and Expectations
-Students must use the DTSD network. You may not access the internet through any cellular data provider while within the District without permission from a teacher or administrator.
-Devices are to be on MUTED or SILENT mode when entering the classroom. VIBRATE mode is not acceptable.
-Devices should also be placed face down on the top of the table or desk in clear view.
-Recording audio, video, or photographic images without the subject’s permission is not allowed in any area of the school. (These actions can be a violation of state and federal law. Distributing such recordings or images can lead to further legal ramifications.)
-Devices are permitted during flex at the teacher’s direction. You must ask permission before getting on your device.
-Devices are not permitted in the hallways, library, or lunch. Students may only use devices at teacher direction. In all other instances during the school day, devices must be placed in lockers (i.e. assemblies, field trips).
-At this time, there is no printing allowed from student-owned devices.
-You are held accountable for the AUP policy even if you are on your own personal device.
-DTSD and employees are not responsible for any theft, damage, or loss of any non-district device or the information on any such device.
