TENDER NOTICE FOR STITCHING OF UNIFORMS

1.Sealed tenders are hereby invited on behalf of the President of India for tailoring contract for stitching of uniforms for the year 2017-18 in respect of Headquarters Inspector General Assam Rifles(North) at Kohima (Nagaland) as per the requirement attached in the schedule/tender form.

2.The tender must be sent under strong cover securely fastended and conspicuously marked as “Tender for tailoring contract of HQ IGAR (North)” on the cover which should reach the office of the Headquarters Inspector General Assam Rifles (North), C/O 99 APO by 30 Jun 2017 at 1200 hrs which will be opened by a board of Offrs on the same day at 1230 hrs.

3.Tender must be accompanied with the following original documents, without which tender would be rejected :-

(a)Income tax clearance certificate by the income tax officer, if tenderer is exempted from income tax, he should produce a certificate from the competent authority.

(b)Certificate from Gazetted officer that he is in possession of sufficient number of sewing machine to undertake the contract.

(c)A power of attorney in favour of signatory of the tenderer if the tender is signed by an other person.

(d)A passport size photograph of the signatory of the tenderer shall be pasted.

(e)Upto date financial stability certificate from the Deputy Commissioner/ Assistant Commissioner/District Revenue Officer/ Scheduled Bank mentioning the approximate value upto which tenderer is capable to run the contract.

4.Terms and Conditions :-Tenderer will quote their rates in both figure and words for each items. The rates should be exclusive of buttons, sewing thread, press button, hooks, lining cloth for trouser terry cotton and buckram of collars etc which would be provided by this HQ.

5.Tender Fee/Earnest Money/Security Deposit :- Tender fee Rs.100/- must be deposited by tenderer in State Bank of India under Head of Account “2055” Police (Central) Assam Rifles tender value. Miscellaneous in favour of the Ex-Officio-Comdt, Headquarters Inspector General Assam Rifles(North), C/O 99 APO. Two percent of total cost of the tender fee to be deposited as earnest money in the form of Deposit at Call (DAC) pledged in favour of the Ex-Officio-Comdt, HQ IGAR(N). Ten percent of total value of the tender will be deposited by successful tenderer as Security Money through cheque/bank draft in favour of Headquarters Inspector General Assam Rifles(North).

6.Tender once submitted will remain operative upto 31 Mar 2018 which may be extended upto 31 May 2018. The Ex-Officio-Comdt of this Headquarters reserves the right to accept or reject any tender without assigning any reasons.

7.Rate quoted by the tenderers should not exceed the rates approved by the Govt of India as given below, Rates quoted for any items in excess of the Govt approved rates will nullify the tender entirely :-

8. The successful tenderer will have to maintain a shop in Kohima so as to enable this Headquarters to place order and take delivery of stitched garments without undue delay.

9.In case of failure on the part of approved contractor to complete a legitimate work within the stipulated terms and conditions and approved rates, such works will be done at local market rates at the risk and expense of the approved contractor and difference of the rates if any will be recovered from the security money or from his bills.

10.The tenderers must submit their PAN No, TIN No and Bank A/C No with any Branch of SBI having CORE banking facility along with the tender.
