- BOARD COMMUNICATION
Karina Maureira raised the question to the board if they would like to move forward with the shooter on campus workshops by Officer Kelly. Dunia Valladares announced that Culture Fair is next week, need volunteers. Karina Maureira expressed concern for her Resolution for support of Mary Su. Karina said she thinks most of the senators voting today were not present or seated during Mary Su and David Hall’s call for support. Karina inquired if this can be brought back. No, it cannot without “new and compelling information”. Furthermore, a motion to reconsider would have to be brought back from the “winning” side. Alice Terriquez reminded everyone of the food drive and blood drives going on. Amayrani Ochoa stated her opinion about the resolution, she understands the board position, however it is a reflection of the campus, not just the board.
