Attendance Race
Congratulations to RMW for achieving 98.7% in the attendance race, they were our weekly winners! 4JW are currently leading the race and are nearly at the first Jungle stop.
Learners of the Week
Last Friday we celebrated our first learners of the week of 2018. Congratulations to
Caleb Lee, Jessie Bailey, Alfie Mitchell, Caitlin Everett, Elise Punt, Fraser White, Mason Dancer, Nate Peck, Riley Corrall-Anderson, Aedan Sagrott, Emma Fisher, Reuben Colbridge, Lana-Mai Steward, Meg Johnson and Grace Goodwin who all achieved Learner of the Week.
Kingswood Residential Trip – Year 5
Our current Year 5 pupils will have the opportunity to attend our Kingswood residential trip in September. There will be a meeting for parents on 29th January at 3.15pm to give you more information regarding this opportunity. This meeting will last for about 30 minutes and will take place in the Dining Hall.
Parent Lunches
We are aware that the parent lunches all booked up very quickly, it is fantastic that this event has proven so popular and our kitchen staff have very kindly agreed to add some additional dates to avoid disappointment. For future years we will start off with more dates as we now realise the popularity of parent lunches.
The new dates are 5th, 6th and 7th February and these are now available to book. All bookings must be made by Friday 26th January. A letter has been emailed out regarding these new dates.
Singing Club
Could we please remind all parents that Singing Club has now returned to the original finishing time of 4.00p.m. The later time was just while the children were practicing for their Christmas event. Thank you.
Kitchen Chemistry Event- Year 5
If you have a child in Year 5, they should have brought home a letter last week regarding a trip to Ormiston Denes to watch some ‘Kitchen Chemistry’ demonstrations by a university lecturer from the University of East Anglia. If you have not received a letter, please ask your child for it. Forms and payments must be returned by Friday 9thFebruary.
