Autobiography

EARLIEST MEMORY. My earliest childhood memory is when my brother and I were sitting in my kitchen eating sandwiches. My dad gave us each a cup of lemonade. I remember asking why he gave us dirty dish water, and he told us to try it. We were both hesitant but drank it anyway. It was indeed lemonade.

KINDERGARTEN. I think my favorite thing about kindergarten was when we would make gingerbread houses around Christmas time. Even though they told us not to eat the candy because it was old and gross, every time we made one I’d eat it anyway.

ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. The elementary school teacher that impressed me the most was my 6th grade english teacher, Mrs. Tung. She was a graduate from the Air Force Academy and was very strict. She taught me memorization techniques for math and I still use them to this day.

SIBLING RANK ORDER. I have one older brother. He is two and a half years older than me and currently a junior at Eastern Washington University. We get along most of the time even though we are complete opposites.

UNIQUE. Starting school, I was placed in the Japanese Immersion Program. This is a program that runs through elementary, middle, and high school. Growing up, I was taught many subjects in Japanese, such as math and history. I also visited Japan in 6th grade. By the time I graduated high school, I had 13 years of learning Japanese on my resume, marking me as a fluent speaker.

PROUD PARENT. I think the proudest my parent have ever been was when I won my Army ROTC Scholarship. I came home and my mom was extremely happy and we celebrated with dinner.

CAREER. In my future career I would like to be a trauma/neurosurgeon. Education, money, and time are the things preventing me from doing this. I have continued to be interested in this field of medicine.
