Terms and Conditions
1)NORTH SHORE RAILWAY MODELLERS ASSOCIATION Inc.(herein known as The Association) will charge the following rates of commission :
15% when Item Lists are returned to the above address or E-Mailed (preferred) before Friday, two weeks before the Exhibition, and the items delivered to the hall between 6.00pm and 9.30 p.m. onthe Friday of the Exhibition weekend.
20% when Item Lists are returned to the above address or E-Mailed (preferred) after Friday, two weeks before the exhibition, and before the Friday of the exhibition weekend and the items delivered to the hall between 6.00pm and 9.30 p.m.on the Friday of the Exhibition weekend.
25% otherwise.
2)These rates will be charged only if the item is sold.
3)The Vendor is to submit a List of Items to be sold(preferably in Excel compatible format), showing a brief description of the item (no more than 50 characters) and the desired selling price.
4)Any faults in the goods, if any, other than ordinary wear and tear, must be described in writing on the item list and on a label attachedto the relevant item
5)N.B. This label and The Associationlabel showing Item No. and Price will be the only information allowed.
6)Items are required to be delivered between 6pm and 9.30 p.m. on the Friday March 4th to the Bring ‘n’ Buy Stall, Forestville Memorial Hall, Cnr. Starkey Street & Warringah Rd, Forestville. (If you need to make other arrangements, contact the coordinator before Thursday night,March 3rd.)
7) Unsold items may be picked up between 4 pm and 6 pm on the Sunday.
8)Any items delivered on the Saturday or Sunday with price labels attached will be put on the tableswhen time permits.
9)Items delivered without price labels attached and/or paperwork will be not be accepted, except at the sole discretion of The Association.
10)Security: The Association will take all care with goods, and over the past few years have had very few items 'lost'. For your own protection, we ask you to package your items so that they cannot be easily damaged, or be fitted into a pocket or bag easily (e.g. with cardboard backing at least 22 cm x 12 cm).The Associationshall not be responsible for the loss of, or damage to, any goods accepted by it for sale from any cause.
11)Goods accepted for sale cannot be withdrawn from sale prior to the close of the exhibition on the last day.
12)The price of an item cannot be changed within the exhibition sale period.
13)The Associationreserves the right to refuse to accept any items for sale.
14)The Association regrets that electrical items that are intended to be connected to the 240v mains power supply cannot be accepted unless in the manufacturer’s original packaging and with warranties attached.
15)The Association shall not be required to pay any vendor any proceeds of sales for goods sold prior to the expiry of six working days after the close of the exhibition. Payment may be by cheque or cash at the Association’s sole discretion.
16)The Association shall not be responsible for unsold goods not collected by the vendor at the close of the exhibition.
17)By lodging a List of Items for sale with the Association, the vendor acknowledges that he has read the above terms and conditions and agrees to be bound by them in consideration of the NORTH SHORE RAILWAY MODELLERS Assn Inc. accepting these items for sale.
