Welcome to HoneyBadger Aviation (HBA)
Our goal at HBA, is to provide high quality training catered toward your individual requirements. We want your holiday to be fun and safe! Our training is stringent but we will ensure you are a safe, confident and competent pilot as you travel in the U.S. We'll relieve your stress about flying in the U.S.A.!!!!
HBA will provide the following:
Individualized training based on your cross country plans or time build
Training materials / Testing for the chosen plane.
Trip review for hazards based on your individual experience
Complete Plus One Flyers check out for the aircraft of choice.
FAA endorsements provided: Tailwheel, High Horsepower, Complex, Multi engine
Guaranteed scheduled instruction prior to your arrival. The day after your arrival and FAA certificate issuance, you'll be flying!
Local and national travel advice
Typical training takes three days. Most of the pilots we train are great pilots. The radio communications in San Diego is fast and often intimidates the best pilots.Prior to your trip, listen to Live ATC
1st Day- 3-4 hours spent conducting aircraft check out, plus checkout.
2nd Day - 3-4 hours, review your previous days training and work on the weak areas
3rd day - optional - often spent going to Catalina, Big Bear, getting night current, learning soft field landing techniques in the desert, Flying over Los Angeles Airport @ 2500'
***** On Call instructor Option- HBA offers the service of providing an on-call (0700-22:00 PST) instructor for your guidance and to provide advice for each day of your trip. We'll review weather, flight plans and help with trip guidance.Cost-$30.00 per day.

FAA - certificate training provided, HBA offers fast paced multi-engine training with TSA approval.
